Information: Karie assists in the "Friendly Frogs" pre-kindergarten classroom. Friendly is a good description for Mrs. Svien! She keeps her students hopping, too. Karie is a loving and extremely organized mom. Her introduction to St. Peter's began when her daughter, Gracie, began attending St. Peter's. Karie participates on the PTL, helped in the library, and regularly volunteered as a school lunch coordinator and early childhood lunch bunch helper.

Karie is married to Peter. They have two daughters: Gracie, in 4th grade, and Shelby, in 2nd grade. They live in Richfield and are active members of Berea Lutheran Church.
