Information: Pastor Mark was called to be pastor at St. Peter's in June of 2000, after serving for some time as a mentor for the congregation in the area of outreach. St. Peter's is the third congregation where he has served since the 80's. All three ministries have included elementary schools (previously in Pittsburgh, PA & Palatine, IL). He is a graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and the Pastoral Leadership Institute. He has participated in mission trips with the St. Peter's family to Mongolia and Russia as well as disaster relief locally and out of state. In the community, Mark is very involved in the Edina Morningside Rotary Club.

Pastor Mark believes the people of St. Peter's have a deep commitment to serving and welcoming others in Jesus' name - and that includes incredible children who show love in response to the love they have personally received from their Savior, Jesus. Helping families is a central part of what St. Peter's is all about.

Pastor Mark is passionate about sending people out beyond the walls of the building to serve in the Kingdom. He spends a great deal of time encouraging and working beside staff and leaders in the congregation, as well as helping individuals see their own ministry in the Kingdom.

His personal interests include enjoying time with his "girls": wife Joann, and daughters Hannah, Emma, & Jenna. He enjoys working with technology as a tool for ministry, website development with community organizations, and various home improvement projects. When not at St. Peter's on the weekends, you can find Pastor Mark at the racetrack. He serves as a volunteer NASCAR Cup Series chaplain.
